Trace

Lexabit Trace"Follow the money, find the story."

Planned · Layer: Binding

What it does

Trace visualizes money flows, identifies transaction patterns, and traces the source of funds through complex webs of accounts and entities. It turns raw transactions into a picture of how money actually moves.

Key capabilities

  • Transaction flow visualization — interactive graph of money movement between accounts and entities over time.
  • Counterpart network analysis — map who transacts with whom; surface clusters, hubs, and unusual connections.
  • Source-of-funds tracing — chain backward from a transaction to its ultimate origin, critical for real estate and high-value transfers.
  • Layering detection — spot money moving through chains of intermediary accounts.
  • Source-of-funds requests — ask a sender to verify their identity and answer a structured questionnaire, compiled into a verified report.

How it fits

Trace builds on transaction data from Account Connect, resolves each hop's entities via Reveal, and feeds patterns to Comply, Monitor, and Signal.

In the API today

Trace is Planned and not yet available via the API. The transaction and counterpart data it will visualize is produced today by Account Connect.
